Dubai announces Ramadan working hours for government employees – News

The Human Resources Department of the Government of Dubai has announced the official working hours of government employees during the holy month of Ramadan.

The schedules are as follows:

– Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

– Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The department further said that government agencies in the emirate can implement a flexible work system and adopt remote work policies on Friday, applicable to up to 70% of the total number of employees.

Government agencies must determine the work hours of employees who work shifts or whose jobs are related to serving the public or managing public service facilities in a manner that accommodates their operational requirements and ensures the proper functioning of his work.
