Knowledge Fund Establishment Joins National Bonds to Introduce ‘The Young Investor’ Initiative


Investor Programme, the Middle East’s first financial education initiative designed to instil financial literacy among young people.

The first phase of ‘The young investor’ The program will be implemented in three branches of ‘Dubai schools’, a project launched in 2021 to create an Emirati school model that provides a global standard of education rooted in national values. He Establishment of the Knowledge Fund and National Bonds will collaborate in the development, design and implementation of the program in ‘Dubai Schools’, ensuring that financial literacy is integrated into its educational curriculum.

The educational program begins with fifth and sixth grade students, with the goal of introducing financial knowledge at an early age. The strategic initiative aligns with national efforts to promote financial literacy and underscores the National Bond and Knowledge Fund Establishment’s commitment to nurturing financially literate and responsible communities from childhood onwards.

Abdulla Mohammed Al Awar, CEO of the Knowledge Fund Establishment, expressed enthusiasm for the launch of a pioneering financial education program aimed at empowering young students, collaborating with National Bonds to implement it in schools in Dubai and beyond, with the aim of instilling crucial financial skills such as saving, making budgets and investment.

Mohammed Qasim Al Ali, CEO of National Bonds Group, highlighted the ‘Young Investor’ program as a substantial advancement in financial education for school-age children, emphasizing its role in empowering students to navigate financial complexities and cultivate sound money management habits for a financially literate society.

He ‘Young investor’ program, a joint initiative of the Establishment of the Knowledge Fund and National Bonds, presents six modules to instill strong financial fundamentals in students. Covering topics ranging from effective money management to comprehensive financial planning, the program integrates interactive elements, hands-on exercises and workshops, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills for informed financial decision-making and configuration of the future economic panorama. This is the first youth-focused financial education initiative in the Middle East.
