United Arab Emirates: Job fair for Emiratis determined to provide employment in all sectors – News

A unique career fair in Abu Dhabi dedicated to the determined people of the Emirates provided job opportunities in various sectors.

Corporate HR managers from various public and private sector actors participated in the fair, emphasizing the need to promote inclusion and diversity in the workplace.


Organized by ImInclusive, the UAE’s leading certified disability inclusion company and the Zayed Higher Organization (ZHO) for People of Determination, the fair was part of the second edition of the Project Atmah programme, supported by the Contribution Authority Social (Ma’an).

Top employers at the Atmah Career Fair included e&, Edge Group, Serco, Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, du, PWC, Rosewood, VFS Global, Bidfood, Baker Hughes, Atkins Realis, Khidmah, Conrad Abu Dhabi and more.

Employers who committed to hiring determined people received training on how to conduct interviews as part of the year-round Atmah program. Candidates met face to face with employers and discussed vacancies. They applied for junior, mid-senior and senior vacancies in roles such as administration, graphic design and marketing, and employers demonstrated a strong commitment to inclusive hiring practices.

Salem Ali Al Shamsi, executive director of social recruitment and incubation at Ma’an, said the authority has been working to create a cohesive community that includes all members of society.

“Based on a collaborative, community-focused spirit, we empower the third sector to deliver solutions to pressing social problems. Creating career opportunities for determined people directly aligns with our core values ​​of ensuring that all members of the community are engaged in working to improve the quality of life.”

The Atmah program is an innovative training initiative designed to empower determined people in Abu Dhabi by equipping them with specialized skills crucial for employment opportunities.

“We look forward to seeing the opportunities that arise for those attending the event,” Al Shamsi said.

Nafaa Al Hammadi, executive director of the support services sector at the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination, praised the impactful social programs and sustainable employment initiatives, which support the development system through effective partnerships between the institution, government entities and the private sector. she contributing to the activation of the strategy for the integration of determined people in Abu Dhabi.

The next career fair is planned for September. The Atmah program aims to enroll at least 60 employers this year.
