UAE three-day weekend: Free parking and toll announced for Prophet’s birthday in emirate – News

The Integrated Transport Center (ITC) of the Abu Dhabi Department of Municipalities and Transport has announced free parking, toll and public bus schedules during the upcoming public holiday, September 29.

Surface parking will be free during the holiday from Friday until 7:59 a.m. Saturday.

Parking spaces at the Musaffah M-18 truck park will be free during the public holiday. In this sense, the ITC called on drivers to avoid parking in prohibited areas and blocking traffic circulation. He also urged drivers to park properly in designated areas and avoid parking in residential spaces from 9pm to 8am.

The authority said the Darb toll system will be free on Friday. Toll collection will resume on Saturday during normal peak hours (7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.).

Public bus services in Abu Dhabi will operate as per the usual schedule during weekends and public holidays.

The ITC stated that Customer Happiness Centers across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi will be closed during the holidays.

Residents can continue to apply for ITC services on its digital platforms through its website www.itc.gov.ae, TAMM platform and Darb and Darbi smart apps.
