United Arab Emirates extends passport validity to 10 years

Abu Dhabi: The UAE Cabinet on Monday approved a significant improvement, extending the validity of the Emirati passport from five to 10 years for citizens aged 21 and over.
The decision was made during a cabinet meeting chaired by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi, on Monday.
