Conditions at sea will be weak in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman
The day will be between regular and partly cloudy, according to the National Meteorological Center.
Light to moderate winds will blow, cooling at times, especially to the east, causing dust. Authorities issued a red and yellow fog alert.
The alert reads: “Formation of fog with a deterioration in horizontal visibility, which may further decrease at times over some internal and coastal areas, especially to the west, from 2 am to 8:30 am on Saturday.”
Temperatures are expected to rise in some coastal areas. They could reach up to 47ºC in the country. The mercury is expected to reach 44ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Temperatures could drop to 30ºC in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and 23ºC in mountainous regions.
It will be humid overnight and Sunday morning with a chance of fog or mist forming over some coastal and inland areas in the west. Levels will range between 30 and 90 percent in Abu Dhabi and between 25 and 90 percent in Dubai.
