UAE stocks surge as market capitalization surpasses AED 2.84 billion

UAE stocks reinforced their gains on Wednesday, with their market capitalization rising by more than AED 2.84 billion.
The market capitalization of listed stocks grew from AED 3.609 billion yesterday to AED 3.612 billion at the close of trading today, divided into AED 2.932 billion for stocks listed on the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange (ADX). and AED 680.7 billion for shares listed on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
DFM made AED 2.04 billion in market gains, while ADX shares recorded AED 803.5 million.
Local stocks attracted around AED 1.52 billion in liquidity, split into AED 1.21 billion in the Abu Dhabi market and AED 313.8 million in the Dubai market. Trading involved approximately 762.3 million shares in more than 19,700 transactions.
The FTSE ADX Growth Market Index (FADGMI) closed up 0.1 percent, rising 9.2 points to 9,526.14 points. The FADX 15 index rose by around 0.1 percent, gaining around 9.5 points to close at 9,301.94 points, while the DFM General Index grew by 0.23 percent or the equivalent of 9.44 points, standing at 4,038.32 points.
