Sheikh Mohammed was briefed on One&Only One Za’abeel, the first vertical urban complex in Dubai developed by Kerzner International. The latest addition to Dubai’s hotel offering features 229 opulent rooms and suites spread over 15 floors, as well as diverse amenities and a variety of exceptional dining options designed by a distinguished team of world-class chefs. The complex also has sports facilities and an infinity pool, the longest in Dubai, 120 meters long and 100 meters above ground level.
The opening of the urban complex in early January comes at a time when the emirate’s tourism industry is experiencing significant growth, offering visitors a wide range of options. Recent statistics from the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism reveal that as of the end of November 2023, the city had a total of 149,680 hotel rooms in 820 properties. This represents a significant increase compared to the 145,000 hotel rooms in 794 properties registered at the end of November 2022.
