Dubai launches international Taqdeer Award for distinguished workers and companies

About the vision and objectives of the award, Major General Bin Suroor He said in his presentation during a press conference:

“We accept this as a challenge to stimulate competitiveness while promoting long-lasting relationships between businesses and workers and are launching an AED 1 million prize for the winning business that achieves the highest rating in the 7-star category.”

Creative initiatives

The award has inspired creative initiatives that are the first of their kind in the world, the most notable of which is the signing of memorandums of understanding with 12 government entities in Dubai under which the latter will offer wonderful incentives to companies that win prizes 4 and 5. -Star categories. It also inspired a gold card awarded to distinguished companies that won the 4 to 5 star categories. This card allows corporate beneficiaries to obtain great discounts and benefits that enhance their reputation locally and internationally. It also launched a special discount card for distinguished workers supported by 110 shopping centers and multi-service commercial establishments. This allows around 210,000 workers to save more than AED 300 million per year, if each of them saves AED 1,500 over two years of card validity.

AED 1 million prize for the winning company

During the press conference, HE bin Suroor revealed the launch of an AED 1 million prize to be awarded to the company that tops the list of winners in the 7-star category and achieves the highest rating in the rankings. Additionally, the top-ranked company would get additional incentives, giving it preference when approving projects, whether in the UAE or globally.

“The evaluation system adopted by the award is the result of continuous development over several months to achieve the desired results, making it the first of its kind in the world. Artificial Intelligence methodology is used to evaluate the inputs of nomination applications and provide the results for each award criterion separately.”

During the press conference to present the sixth edition of the award, a collaboration agreement was signed between Taqdeer Award and ONPASSIVE.
