Dubai: ‘Care’ initiative offers 11,681 health services to seniors and people of determination

Between May 3 and August 31, the initiative provided 10,665 medical services, including home health care services for seniors. In addition, it provided 1,016 health services to people of determination.
The initiative, supervised by the Higher Committee for Development and Citizen Affairs, seeks to develop an integrated health system to improve the quality of life of older people and people of determination. A dedicated hotline, 800588, has been established to ensure a quick response to your queries, providing you with comprehensive and advanced medical services tailored to your unique health needs, prioritizing convenience and accessibility.

He added: “The Care initiative aims to establish an integrated healthcare system and provide exceptional services through a network of healthcare facilities. “This effort contributes significantly to reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a model in providing the highest standards of healthcare and treatment.”
The initiative has facilitated 4,606 scheduled appointments through the hotline for clinical, hospital and home services. In addition, it organized 2,582 home visits by doctors and nurses, ensured the delivery of 3,271 prescription medications, issued 251 medical reports and provided 342 transportation services for patients to access hospitals and clinics for necessary treatment.
The initiative offered a wide range of services, totaling around 578, covering home nursing applications, hospitalization facilitation services, home dental services, social services, passenger services and handling queries from parents of people Seniors and People of Determination.
