TECOM Group to present immersive mangrove-themed escape room at Dubai Media City

TECOM Group has partnered with the Environment Agency Abu Dhabi (EAD) and Emirates Nature-WWF to present an innovative experience: the Escape Climate Change – Mangrove Edition escape room.

This “adventure” is part of EAD and Emirates Nature-WWF’s commitment to achieving the UAE’s national sustainability goals by adopting “nature-based solutions” to address societal challenges.

Its goal is to raise awareness about the seriousness of climate risks and provide avenues to join the fight against climate change.

The experience begins the new season of its national tour in Dubai Media City on October 12-13.

After its debut, the escape room will hit the road, inviting thousands of UAE residents to discover the wonders of mangroves while sparking conversations about global climate.

Dr. Shaikha Salem Al Dhaheri, Secretary General of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi (EAD)saying:

Escape Room Highlights

He Escape from Climate Change – Mangrove Edition The escape room is designed to boost climate resilience and inspire community engagement in conservation.

It is open to everyone and people of all ages.

The escape room tour will continue to Dubai Science Park, TECOM Groupof the lively science-focused community as it hosts the annual WeWalk charity walk on November 18.

The escape room gives people the opportunity to learn firsthand about the science of climate adaptation.

Visitors will also be invited to take meaningful climate action by registering to join nature-based activities and become citizen scientists through EAD and Emirates Nature-WWF.sahim‘ and the Emirates Nature-WWF ‘Leaders of Change’ platform.

These initiatives empower the community to make a difference by contributing to conservation research and decision-making, and collecting valuable data on local species and habitats.
