Abu Dhabi Police and NCM urge public to be cautious and avoid outdoor activities in affected areas
Rain continues to lash the UAE today as the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued orange and yellow alerts for most of the country, warning residents to be careful when venturing outdoors.

Abu Dhabi Police also sent an alert to residents, especially motorists. As roads fill with water, motorists are urged to use caution when driving. They must respect the changing speed limits displayed on electronic signs.

According to the MNC, parts of Ras Al Khaimah are also experiencing hail and thunder.
The X handle Storm Center posted a video of a tree swaying in the wind and rain near Ras Al Khaimah airport.
A wadi in the emirate has filled with water, flowing like a stream.
The video below shows heavy rain in the Shawka region, on the roads heading towards Fujairah.
