Dubai has secured the bid to host and organize the World Cities Culture Summit (WCCS) 2024 from October 30 to November 1, 2024, marking the first time the event will be held in the MENA region. The announcement was made during this year’s summit in Sao Paulo, Brazil, from October 25 to 27, attended by a delegation from the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture).

The World Cities Culture Summit is an annual three-day meeting for member cities of the World Cities Culture Forum, providing a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and best practices in cultural policy formulation. In collaboration with its partner cities, the summit embarks on comprehensive research efforts, establishing a strong evidence base to underscore the multifaceted influence of culture on global cities and the lives of their residents.
