EGA organizes the largest global technical forum on aluminum in Dubai

Emirates Global Aluminum (EGA) announced that it will host the 41st International Conference and Exhibition of the International Committee for the Study of Bauxite and Alumina Aluminum (ICSOBA) in Dubai this week.
ICSOBA is the largest annual technical forum for the global aluminum industry. taking place since November 5 to 9This edition marks the second time ICSOBA has been held in Dubai and the fifth in the Middle East.
The three-day event in Dubai, the largest edition ever, brings together more than 190 international contributions and 168 technical presentations in four parallel streams focused on promoting the decarbonization of the sector and greater sustainability.
As a global leader in the development of aluminum casting technology, EGA will share more than 20 articles detailing findings and solutions to address complex industrial challenges, including EGA articles and articles co-authored with academics or suppliers.

EGA has developed its aluminum casting technology in the United Arab Emirates for over 30 years. EGA was the first UAE industrial company to license its core process technology internationally. DX+ Ultra, EGA’s latest fully industrialized technology, was licensed by Aluminum Bahrain in 2016 for its six power line expansion project and was used for the upgrade of five pilot reduction cells at Indonesia’s INALUM.
All EGAExpansions to the aluminum smelter since the 1990s have used technology developed by the company in the United Arab Emirates. EGA has modernized all its old production lines.
