du announces participation in Inclusion Summit 2023 as a telecommunications partner

The summit will feature panels and discussions on the vital role of government, business and civil society in supporting youth inclusion. The du Youth Council will actively participate in the panels, sharing knowledge, experiences and innovative ideas.

The UAE is recognized as a regional leader in gender equality: 95 percent of female secondary school graduates pursue higher education at tertiary institutions, and women account for 56 percent of graduates in STEM fields. In line with national priorities, du has a strong commitment to promoting gender balance and supporting Emirati talent.

The company recruits emerging Emirati talent for opportunities in the ICT sector, with the aim of maximizing their chances of entering the target market upon graduation. As a result, du has achieved a major milestone by doubling its domestic workforce in the UAE since 2006. Currently, Emirati employees make up 40.9 percent of the total workforce, and 50 percent of them are women.
