MBRAH presents new developments to meet growing industry demand

[ad_1]

Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Center (MBRAH), Dubai’s aerospace platform dedicated to advancing the aviation industry, has revealed plans for the expansion of three new facilities: aerospace supply chain, supplier complex and line maintenance units driven by growing demand for companies eager to take advantage of MBRAH’s advanced infrastructure and services. .

The expansion includes the third and fourth phases of the Aerospace Supply Chain, covering a total of 22,000 m2. These phases will serve engine workshops, component and landing gear MRO, and workshop solutions for SMEs. The Supplier Complex, the first vertical aerospace complex in the region, will see the light of day in a second phase that will offer 13,000 square meters of light industrial space to accommodate aerospace companies, particularly SMEs and start-ups.

The second phase of the Line Maintenance Units will feature an airside plot, which will support airside operators, including FBOs, with direct access to customers. The phase will introduce nine units that will provide comprehensive aviation-related solutions such as maintenance, tooling and engineering warehouse facilities.

These expansions are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2024 and have already secured 70% of pre-leasing commitments from global companies attracted to MBRAH.

Tahnoon Saif, CEO of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Aerospace Center, saying:

“As we prepare for the opening of the Dubai Airshow, we are pleased to announce the expansion of our facilities, which are fully occupied and witnessing high demand from aviation-related companies. MBRAH’s aerospace supply chain MRO trade, including import, export and re-export, currently represents $1.52 billion and is expected to reach more than $2.18 billion in the coming years. Therefore, we are ready to accommodate this huge demand and serve the needs of businesses through our recently announced facilities. At MBRAH, we will continue to invest in our advanced infrastructure and services to contribute to our wise leadership’s strategy of consolidating Dubai’s position on the global aviation map.”

MBRAH serves as a free zone destination for leading airlines, private jet companies, MRO and associated industries, and offers high-end connectivity to global aerospace players. Located in the south of Dubai, MBRAH is also home to maintenance centres, training facilities and educational campuses, contributing to the emirate’s ambition to establish itself as a world-class aviation hub.
