United Arab Emirates condemns Israel’s attack on the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza

Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the Israeli attack on the headquarters of the Qatari Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) affirmed the UAE’s categorical rejection of the attacks against this committee and against all civilian organizations and facilities in the Gaza Strip. The Ministry highlights that the immediate priority is to preserve civilian lives and ensure the immediate, safe, sustainable and unhindered delivery of humanitarian, medical and relief aid.
The Ministry reaffirmed the need for an immediate ceasefire to prevent further loss of life, reiterating the importance of protecting civilians and civil institutions, in accordance with international law, including international treaties, and the need to ensure that no are attacked during the conflict.
The United Arab Emirates called on the international community to intensify its efforts to prevent the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territory from further aggravating and to boost all efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace, while preventing the region from being dragged to new levels of violence, tension and instability.
