He Minister of Defense has signed a letter of intent with EDGE Groupone of the world’s leading defense and advanced technology groups, for the purchase of extended range vehicles MANSUPER-ER and the shorter-range variant of the advanced anti-ship missile. The total value of the deal is AED 1,102 million and follows another major order for the same systems placed by the Brazilian Navy in Dubai Airshow 2023.

Developed jointly with the brazilian navy, and Brazilian specialist in Intelligent Weapons and High Technology Systems, SIATT, in which EDGE has a 50% interest, MANSUP-ER systems have been developed to meet the defense needs of both the United Arab Emirates Navy and the Brazilian Navy frigate program and for international export. EDGE It is currently in advanced discussions with several potential customers for the long-range surface-to-surface missile, which features adaptive sea navigation capabilities, has a range of 200 km and is equipped with inertial guidance and active radar homing. MANSUP solutions are undergoing intensive testing by the Brazilian naval fleet and will eventually also be adapted for integration into selected air and ground systems.
