Experts recommend making appointments before departure from the UAE to ensure a seamless experience upon arrival.
Industry experts in the UAE urge residents embarking on the holy journey to Saudi Arabia to register for the Nusuk app, which facilitates appointments for Umrah rituals and prayers on Riyazul Jannah.
On the Saudi Arabia e-visa and immigration portal website, it is mentioned that the “Nusuk application is essential to obtain an Umrah permit.”
“It is used to apply for an Umrah permit, schedule an Umrah appointment and access details about Umrah and Hajj pilgrimages. The application provides access to the services and information needed during the Umrah pilgrimage.”
mention the portal.
Industry experts said the Nusuk app allows pilgrims to schedule ritual appointments.
“It is necessary to make appointments on the Nusuk app to do tawaf at the holy site in Mecca. However, appointments may not be regularly monitored by site guards, but it is recommended to make them in the app. If there are many people, security guards may request to show the appointment.”
saying Shihab Parwad, Rehan Tourism Al Jazeera.
Despite this, experts recommend making appointments before leaving the UAE to ensure a seamless experience upon arrival.
Experts also pointed out that for pilgrims who wish to participate in prayers on Riyazul Jannah, it is mandatory to get an appointment, which makes the pilgrimage process easier.

saying Qaiser Mehmood, Asaa Tourism Manager.
Apart from the app, experts shed light on transportation options and point out that Harmain Express is the easiest way to get between Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah, with Jeddah being the hub.
“Pilgrims are advised to take the Harmain Express as it reduces travel time from 6 hours by road to just two hours.”
An important factor to consider when booking an air ticket to Saudi Arabia is to check for flights that allow passengers only with Umrah visas.
“There are many flights scheduled from Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. However, some flights admit passengers with Umrah visa only.”
“People with multiple entry visas for Saudi Arabia are not allowed to travel on these Umrah-only flights,”
“It is best to contact your travel agents to book a flight for the pilgrimage.”
