A world-class hospitality education academy managed by Les Roches will open in Abu Dhabi next year, local authorities have announced.

It will be the first campus in the Mena region for Les Roches, a globally acclaimed leisure and hospitality higher education institution, the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) said.

The Les Roches Global Hospitality campus, which will welcome its first student in September 2024, aims to provide hospitality skills and academic knowledge to foster local talent in the UAE and the region.

The academy seeks to attract regional and national talent from the UAE to the industry. It aims to focus on UAE practices and values ​​within its curriculum. The program and methodology seek to support the hospitality sector by cultivating local talent with high-quality education and the skills necessary for the future of the industry. There will be a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees. The curriculum includes a variety of hospitality-related and practical skills certifications, in areas including hotel operations, travel, tourism, transportation and entrepreneurship.
