President of the United Arab Emirates receives Russian President Putin on a state visit to the United Arab Emirates

Sheikh Mohamed accompanied President Putin to inspect the guard of honor and witness the performances of the national anthems of the Russian Federation and the United Arab Emirates. The official reception ceremony also included a 21-gun artillery salute in honor of the visit and a flyover by the UAE Air Force’s Al Fursan aerobatics team, leaving a trail of smoke in the colors of the Russian flag.

UAE Air Force aircraft escorted the plane carrying the Russian president as it entered UAE airspace.

The Russian President is accompanied on his visit by a high-level delegation made up of several Russian ministers and officials.
