UAE weather: Fog alert issued, visibility to be affected – News

Several parts of the UAE will witness fog from Saturday night to Sunday morning, according to an alert issued by the UAE meteorological body.
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) said there is a possibility of fog forming in the country, with a deterioration in horizontal visibility. Visibility may decrease further in most internal and coastal areas of the country from 11:30 p.m. on Saturday to 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the center warned.
According to the centre’s forecast, fog is likely to affect the coastal and inland areas of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Sharjah.

Abu Dhabi Police have urged motorists to be careful when driving in fog due to reduced visibility. “You are urged to respect the changing speed limits displayed on electronic information boards,” police said.
