Mohammed bin Rashid allocates AED 150 million fund for content creators

Establishing a permanent influencer headquarters, a collaboration between UAE Government Media Office and the new media academyaims to bring together top influencers and content creators, providing the optimal environment to create top-notch content and contribute to sustainable development goals.

The fund to support content creators, worth AED 150 million, aims to support the development of highly creative and impactful content, help content creators hone their skills and enter global markets to present the history of the UAE, its achievements and cultural contributions.

The fund also aims to attract investments in new media; a high-potential and fast-growing economic sector, nurture and empower storytelling to improve the quality of content with the help of experts and academics and encourage the development of contemporary local content that serves the future aspirations of the UAE and establishes further its status as a destination for great talent and innovators, and a global hub for significant media.

The permanent influencer headquarters offers a number of services, including a dedicated studio for filming, storytelling courses, photography, streaming and platform management, among other areas.

It also helps them gain experience in executing their own ideas and content, and learn skills and techniques to create impactful content, as well as providing technical support in collaboration with world-renowned names, including Google and Facebook.

Attending the graduation of 90 content creators as part of the ‘Professional Social Media Program’, carried out in collaboration between the UAE Government Media Office and New Media Academy, and the fourth cohort of the ‘Faris Al Muhtawa Incubator Programme’. Mohammad Al Gergawi saying:
