The Dubai authorities impose a heavy fine of no less than 20,000 dirhams and jail terms for two violations committed by drivers.
The Public Ministry warned drivers not to stop after causing an accident or if the driver flees after suffering an accident and there are injuries present.
In both cases, the authority imposes the aforementioned sanctions.

The law requires the driver to provide all necessary assistance to those injured as a result of the accident. They will also be required to report the accident to the nearest police station within a period of no more than six hours from when the accident occurred.
All road users have been urged to comply with the rules and laws related to driving on the road to ensure everyone’s safety.
