Arab Health: Dubai launches 3-month ‘permit to practice’ for visiting medical professionals

Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has launched the ‘Permission to Practice’ initiative aimed at establishing a flexible environment for medical professionals in the emirate.

During its presence at the Arab Health Congress and Exhibition 2024, the DHA presented the initiative, which plays a proactive role in equipping the health sector to handle emergencies, disasters and crises. It allows health centers in the emirate to meet their demand for health professionals and access medical expertise in specialized fields by issuing temporary permits to practice the profession. Furthermore, it integrates these capabilities into the continuing education process by engaging them in medical conferences organized by Dubai and the UAE as a whole.
