Dubai: 8 fishermen rescued from sea after boat collides with cargo ship – News

Eight fishermen were rescued from the sea after their fishing boat collided with a commercial freighter. The impact with the boat damaged the boat and injured three crew members.

“The impact of the collision forced the ship to drift two nautical miles before the cargo ship stopped, causing the fishing boat to break apart,” Al Suwaidi said, adding: “Three sailors suffered various injuries and were quickly transported by the Dubai Air Police.
