Abu Dhabi’s MOTN festival is back: ticket prices, new attractions, what awaits visitors – News

The annual Mother of the Nation (MOTN) festival in Abu Dhabi is back with a packed lineup of family-friendly activities, concerts, games, carnival attractions, movies, food stalls, art installations and more.

The festival, which will last until December 31, will allow you to enjoy a combination of art, gastronomy and unlimited entertainment along Abu Dhabi’s stunning Corniche.

In addition to the annual show in the city, the festival also introduced two new editions: MOTN Al Dhafra (November 22 to 26) and MOTN Al Ain (November 29 to December 3), which turned out to be a huge success.

Conceptualized and produced by Brag, the festival underlines the emirate’s position as an ideal destination for those seeking excitement during the winter season.

The seventh MOTN Abu Dhabi celebrates the spirit of the festive season in different areas and concludes with a spectacular New Year’s Eve finale.

Ticket prices

Here is a guide to various MOTN entry passes:

  • General admission tickets: Dh30 if purchased online and Dh35 at the door (offers access to free areas and attractions)
  • Day pass: from Dh150
  • 3+1 free offer: Dh540
  • Season pass: Dh495.
  • To access concerts and performances at the Entertain Arena, visitors can purchase their silver passes from Dh95, gold at Dh195 and platinum at Dh295.

This zone offers a one-of-a-kind adventure, allowing kids to explore the vibrant worlds of Barbie and Sonic in Spacetoon Land.

The Upside-Down Museum in the Netherlands adds excitement with an Instagram-worthy ball pit and mind-blowing illusions.

Kids can immerse themselves in an incredible playscape that features a playhouse, swings, phone booth, vinyl shop, game room and restaurant. The festival guarantees non-stop entertainment all day long with carnival rides, bumper cars, a horse-themed carousel, games of skill and crafts.

Explore a fusion of flavors and craftsmanship that captures the essence of the region and beyond in this area.

From London, Coqfighters offers unique East-meets-West fried chicken, Mother Flipper serves juicy burgers and Bad Boys Pizza Society offers authentic pizza. Satisfy your sweet tooth with handmade sourdough donuts from CrossTown or indulge in a cotton candy ice cream cone from Milk Train.

Get your adrenaline fix in this area with a variety of fast-paced activities. Escape from zombies in a post-apocalyptic horror room, test your skills on the photo-friendly 4×4 track, and show off skateboard stunts at MOTN Skate by RollDXB.

Play a sci-fi game in virtual reality where you fight against alien forces using an innovative teleportation system in Omega Protocol. Movies in the Park also makes an exciting return, featuring holiday classics like The Lion King and Guardians of the Galaxy every day.

Music lovers will be taken on a melodious journey with global and regional performances from leading artists in this area.

Embrace the rhythm and harmony that transcends borders and generations with performances by Nancy Ajram, Ramy Sabry and DJ Aseel on Saturday, Black Eyed Peas on December 13, Taylor Swift tribute band ‘Let’s Sing Taylor’ on December 16, Rasha Rizk on December 23, Cairokee and Al Far3i on December 30 and Saif Nabeel and Tamer Hosny on December 31.
