Other solutions highlighted at Arab Health include the image-guided therapy system: Azurion 7 B20/15, which allows a wide range of complex and routine interventional procedures to be performed with ease and confidence, while optimizing laboratory performance for optimal care. superior to the patient.

Arab Health attracts a diverse audience from around the world. Are there specific regions or healthcare issues that the company is particularly focused on addressing through this event?

Philips’ presentation at Arab Health 2024 focuses on our commitment to redesign healthcare around patients and caregivers, enabled by technology.

Having access to the latest technology is vital to addressing current and future health needs, but technological advances are advancing rapidly. That’s why Philips shows how healthcare providers can improve and maintain cutting-edge technology and optimize the performance and uptime of their solutions, tailored to their specific needs.

Our range of services goes beyond equipment to include life extension programs through upgrades or retrofits, and circular financing solutions with equipment return capabilities. This achieves the flexibility to integrate medical equipment, devices, services, upgrades, renewals and add-ons over time, to keep healthcare providers competitive in the Middle East and beyond.

Can you tell us about any collaborations or partnerships Philips has established and how these partnerships contribute to the company’s overall strategy?

We know that health technology solutions have great potential to improve patient outcomes and improve care delivery. If these solutions are supported by long-lasting partnerships and continued investments to realize the vision of healthcare transformation, progress and positive impact are inevitable.

At Philips, we not only focus on creating and delivering technology, but we work closely to align with our partners’ strategic priorities, guided by key performance indicators and business results.

We announce a pioneering collaboration with Malaffi, operated by Abu Dhabi Health Data Services, an M42 company, the region’s first Health Information Exchange (HIE) platform and a strategic initiative of the Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DoH). This is an extension of a successful partnership established in 2022 that allowed Malaffi to include the exchange of medical images between various facilities in Abu Dhabi, establishing global standards for the seamless exchange of radiological images. As a global reference site, Malaffi now showcases the impact of Philips technology in shaping the future of healthcare.

This collaboration is not just about technology; it’s about improving healthcare for everyone. Sharing radiology images not only reduces duplication and healthcare costs, but also protects patients from unnecessary radiation, raising the standard of patient care.

After participating in Arab Health, how does Philips Healthcare measure the impact and success of its presence at the event?

Our goal is to partner with purpose to achieve real impact and real results. This means focusing firmly on building strong, long-lasting partnerships, continuing to deliver critical clinical solutions that improve care, while co-creating to help achieve seamless, connected and ultimately better healthcare. Arab Health provides a valuable platform to celebrate these successes while solidifying partnerships through the signing of agreements and memorandums of understanding. It also serves to qualify new opportunities and advance existing ones.
