Corporate tax registration now available at 23 government service centers across Emirates

The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has made available the service for filing corporate tax registration applications through 23 government service centers located in the UAE.
The United Arab Emirates Federal Tax Authority (FTA) announced a new initiative that allows taxpayers to register for corporate tax through Government Service Centers and the “EmaraTax” Digital platform, available 24/7. Taxpayers can seek assistance from accredited tax agents listed on the FTA website, promoting tax compliance. The trained staff of these centers guarantee quality service and help in registration procedures. After data verification, applicants receive their Tax Registration Number (TRN) by email. He FTA signed cooperation agreements with government centers to provide this service, with the aim of improving tax registration and compliance rates through efficient and accessible channels.
Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director General of the Federal Tax Authority, emphasized the importance of meeting the deadlines established for Corporate Tax registration applications, highlighting the deadline of May 31, 2024, for those with licenses issued in January and February. Al Bustani He underlined the FTA’s efforts to expand service channels, including Government Service Centers, to accommodate growing demand since the implementation of the Corporate Tax.
Zahra Al Dahmani, Director of Taxpayer Services, highlighted collaborative efforts with strategic partners to ensure smooth service delivery in accredited government centres, meeting high standards and customer expectations.

Taxpayers registered for VAT or Excise Tax can access their accounts in EmaraTax, select the taxpayer from the list, complete the Corporate Tax registration application and submit the required documents. For those not registered, a new user profile is required, accessible in the FTA e-services portal. Once created, users can proceed to register for Corporate Tax by identifying the taxpayer and following simple steps.
