Motorists in some areas of Dubai will face traffic diversions due to the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge taking place in the emirate on Sunday, February 25.
The RTA announced that traffic will stop 10 minutes before the race begins and will be diverted to alternate streets as runners pass. The race is expected to start at 6:00 a.m. and run until 10:30 a.m.
The affected roads are between Expo City Dubai and Al Khamila St. These routes are: Expo City Dubai to Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan; Al Nahyan St to Global Village to Hessa St; Al Asayel Street to Garn Al Sabkha Street; From Al Khail Street to Al Khamila Street.

Moving on to X, the authority said all directions of traffic will be suspended at major intersections controlled by traffic lights and roundabouts along the bike path. The traffic flow will resume after the last participant in the race.
