GPSSA to improve employment service termination decisions for insured Emiratis

He General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) has launched the “It ends well”campaign to help insured Emiratis take constructive steps towards understanding the technical aspects behind the UAE Pension Law, thus ensuring your insurance rights and privileges when deciding to retire or terminate your employment contract.
Speaking in more detail about the initiative, Dr. Maysa Rashed Ghadeer, GPSSAThe director of the Office of Government Communications explained that the campaign correlates with GPSSA’Its mission is to provide insured Emiratis with extensive knowledge and information before completing their careers to ensure that they take advantage of prevailing pension and social security privileges.
The campaign focuses on three main thematic areas: years of service, taking advantage of insurance products and services to enjoy the years after leaving the career, and end-of-service benefits (i.e. receiving the desired pension or bonus by end of service). .
Registered members will be familiar with how pension rates increase upon retirement and the completion period required to obtain the desired pension. Additionally, the merging of years of employment through the simple “Shourak” program when changing entities will be explained and highlighted.
The pension and end-of-service calculation method will be explained in detail to help insured Emiratis understand the value of their pension and gratuity for an actual or hypothetical period of service when deciding to retire or terminate an employment contract.
