The largest and only indoor rainforest in the Middle East features extensive shaded outdoor space, offering entertainment, education and enhanced dining offerings.
The Green Planet, the largest and only indoor rainforest in the Middle East, is opening a first-of-its-kind outdoor nature park today.
Families can explore the park’s Treehouse Adventure Trail and Skyline Rides, which feature nine viewing platforms and slides designed for ages four to 12. Additionally, visitors will find more than 20 giant animatronic insects, gigantic replicas of real species, offering an enriching experience. learning experience before discovering up close the insect species resident in the biodome.
The immersive outdoor sanctuary also features nine vibrant botanical gardens, each representing unique corners of the world. From lush palm trees to essential pollinators, lush tropical species, serene Zen gardens, elegant orchids, aromatic herbs, rich Mediterranean vegetation, abundant fruits and flourishing orchards, the shady park offers a captivating array of nature’s wonders.
Nature Park also has a dedicated children’s play area for children up to six years old, as well as an outdoor cafe serving a delicious range of snacks for families.
As part of its outdoor expansion, The Green Planet is also introducing an active entertainment calendar that will celebrate major events such as Halloween and Festive. Additionally, the space will serve as an enriching environment for summer camps, school programs and various events, including eco-educational-themed birthday parties.
To celebrate the launch, guests can attend talks by biologists every day from the 10th. October 15, 2023 at 3 pm. Younger guests can enjoy free themed activities and seed-planting sessions, as well as craft workshops with nature and insect themes from October 10 to 15, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Visitors can enter the park with a one-day nature park pass priced at AED 69 per person,Single entry access for 1 child (3+ years) with 1 adult to the new park. Alternatively, they can opt for the Annual Natural Park Pass at AED 249 per person, providing year-round access and a variety of additional benefits throughout The Green Planet. A standard Green Planet day pass, which includes access to both the inner jungle and the nature park, starts at AED 175 per person.
