The United Arab Emirates commits to working with OPEC+ on decisions to ensure the stability of the global oil market

Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructuresaid the Ministry is currently working to improve the UAE’s electric vehicle (EV) system by adding new stations and concluding more partnerships with major global companies to drive growth in the sector.

“This will increase the number of electric vehicles used in the UAE and reduce the carbon footprint of the transport sector.”

Al Mazrouei said outside the World Government Summit (WGS) 2024, which started today in Dubai.

“The Ministry aims to set fair prices for the private sector to encourage it to invest in fast charging stations for electric vehicles, placing the UAE among the leading countries in the world in terms of electric vehicle infrastructure and charging speed” .

Regarding his outlook on the global oil market in light of the ongoing global changes, he said the UAE is committed to working with OPEC+ partners to study the market and make decisions that ensure the stability of the oil market. global, noting that the global oil market The oil market is vast and involves many variables and equations, including global geopolitical situations.
